Police in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, said a woman was arrested for allegedly hitting a pedestrian and driving home with the victim trapped in her windshield.
The Mainichi Daily News said Monday that vocational school student Michiko Sato is accused of hitting elderly pedestrian Shige Ami with her car early Sunday morning in Utsunomiya, Japan.
After the accident, Sato allegedly drove a little more than 4.3 miles to her home with Ami’s head implanted in the windshield of Sato’s car, police allege.
“I panicked and didn’t know what to do,” Sato allegedly told police about her decision to return home after the accident.
Police were alerted to the alleged hit-and-run incident by a acquaintance of Sato, whom the 23-year-old woman had called seeking advice, the Daily News said.
Police officers responding to the call found Ami, 80, dead as a result of injuries. The woman’s head reportedly was still implanted in the windshield of the vehicle when police arrived at the scene.
Japanese Television is just evil! It’s great to play tricks on people, but do you have to drop them in water that is so hot they want to crouch on a tub of ice?
Japanese Television is know for being whacky and this clip is no exception. Reporters fool three little kids into thinking a zombie is coming to eat them and then watches as they fight him off.
Japan gets all the crazy stuff, even the freaky aliens and their bizarre crop circles.
In reality it is created by planting different coloured rice in the fields. In recent years, a growing number of local governments around Japan have started organizing rice paddy art projects as a way to attract tourists and educate people about rice farming.
Some of these photos from a storm sewer in Saitama, Japan remind me a lot of the alien pyramid in Total Recall… Awesome movie!
To avoid floodings on typhoon season, the city of Saitama built an extremely large and impressive storm sewer system. Its construction started in 1992, and its composed by giant concrete silos (65m tall, 32m wide) connected by 6.4km of underground tunnels 50m below the surface. It also has a giant tank: 25.4m tall, 177m long and 78 wide, with 59 concrete columns.
Japan is known for being a little different to the rest of the world. Japanese Television is pretty crazy all on its own. So what happens when Japan make games for the Wii?
You don’t have to understand Japanese to enjoy the wonderful delights of Japanese Television. Check out this clip from what I’m guessing is another game show, where the guy has to get within 30cm of bikini boobs.
