Resident Evil Game and Movie
Zombie killing has been made much more fun with the Resident Evil game series. Well a trailer has been released for the 5th installment which looks pretty fantastic.
I believe this will be available on PS3 and XBox 360 but it is still in production at the moment.
The movie series based off the game has it’s third installment coming out around September / October (Depending on where you are from).
The first movie was pretty good, the second, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, kinda sucked so I’m not too sure what to make of this one just yet.
Here are a few movie stills from Resident Evil: Extinction, featuring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Ashanti and a zombie dog.
Milla Jovovich always seems to look the part of a kick ass kind of chick. It looks as if from the second picture that they revisit the original house.
Resident Evil: Extinction Synopsis;
Alice (Milla Jovovich), now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke ) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti) to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead…and to seek justice. Since being captured by the Umbrella Corporation, Alice has been subjected to biogenic experimentation and becomes genetically altered, with super-human strengths, senses and dexterity. These skills, and more, will be needed if anyone is to remain alive.
Overall it seems like a good time to be a zombie fan.
7 Classic Games You Can Play Online
Pac Man
When Pac-Man was released, most arcade video games in North America were primarily space shooters such as Space Invaders and Defender or Asteroids; the most visible minority were sports games (mostly derivative of Pong). Pac-Man succeeded by creating a new genre and appealing to both males and females. Pac-Man is often credited with being a landmark in video game history, and is among the most famous arcade games of all time.
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong is an early example of the platform genre as the gameplay focuses on maneuvering the main character across a series of platforms while dodging obstacles. In it, Jumpman (now known as Mario) must rescue a damsel in distress known as Pauline from a giant ape named Donkey Kong. The hero and ape would go on to be two of Nintendo’s most well-known characters.
Duck Hunt
Duck Hunt is a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game console system in which players use the NES Zapper to shoot ducks on screen for points. The game was developed and published by Nintendo, and was released in 1984 in Japan. The ducks appear one or two at a time, and the player is given three shots to shoot them down.
Warcraft
Warcraft: Orcs & Humans is a real-time strategy game, developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment in 1994.[1] The real-time strategy genre had been pioneered by Dune II, but Warcraft (along with Westwood Studios’ Command & Conquer) is widely credited for the genre’s rise in popularity.
The game is set in the Kingdom of Azeroth, part of the fictional Warcraft universe. The events that take place in this game are known in Warcraft lore as the First War or the Great War.
Lemmings
The game was unique and based around a concept previously untried. In the original Commodore Amiga version, there are 120 levels, and on each level, the player must guide a group of up to 100 lemmings (or 80 in many versions, such as DOS and Windows) home by giving individual lemmings various commands. The “lemmings” of the game are small, green-haired humanoid beings that mindlessly walk en masse into any danger in their path, following the popular myth that real lemmings behave in a similarly suicidal fashion.
Space Invaders
Space Invaders is an arcade video game designed by Tomohiro Nishikado in 1978. It was originally manufactured by Taito and licensed for production in the U.S. by the Midway division of Bally. Released initially in its native Japan in 1978, it ranks as one of the most influential video games ever created. Though simplistic by today’s standards, it was one of the forerunners of modern video gamingv
Missile Command
Missile Command is a 1980 arcade game by Atari Inc. that was also licensed to Sega for European release. The plot of Missile Command is simple: the player’s planet, Zardon, is being attacked by an endless hail of interplanetary ballistic missiles from Krytol, some of them even splitting like multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRVs), and in later levels smart bombs which can evade a less than perfectly targeted missile. As a regional commander of three anti-missile batteries, the player must defend six cities in their zone from being destroyed.

Top 7 Online Zombie Games
When it comes to playing Flash Games online, Tower Defense Games are fun, but Zombie Games are so much better!
Here are my top 7 Zombie Games Online!
7. Autumn War
This is very different to most zombie games, as it’s more about the strategy.
If you are after a “I want to blow someone’s head off!” kind of a game, then this is not for you.
6. Zombie Survival
This reminds me of the good old games like the original Duke Nukem, with slightly better graphics. You run side to side and kill things. Simple yet fun.
5. De-Animator
The De-Animator is simple shapes with advancing hordes of zombies. Extremely simple, but just as addictive!
Spacebar switches to the shotgun!
4. Project Validus Survival
Looking from above, you run around the city killing zombies. There is a storyline that goes along with it, so if you are looking for that in a game, then Project Validus Survival is for you.
3. Endless Zombie Rampage
Defend your little base from being destroyed while the advancing zombies come at you from everywhere!
What makes the Endless Zombie Rampage great is all the blood that gets left behind after wasting those damn zombies. Lots of weapons to choose from and you can chase after the bastards! Very fun!

2. The Last Stand
This was very close to being number 1! Survive the night then go looking for survivours and weapons. The survivours help you shoot zombies, while weapons let you kill them faster.
It’s a great game with good graphics and sound. You definitely need to play this one!

1. Boxhead More Rooms
It was a tough choice but Boxhead More Rooms got my number 1 pick because of it’s pure addictiveness!
The graphics are simple, but the game play is fantastic. Choose from different rooms and collect weapons along the way. Box them in with walls, blow them up with cluster bombs and claymores.
Hundreds of the little bastards will come after you and you’ll enjoy killing all of them and running around in the blood stains left behind. Oh yeah!

Here are a few other zombie games that didn’t make the cut.
Top 5 Tower Defense Games
Tower Defense games have been very popular lately, so I thought I’d take a look at my Top 5 Tower Defense Games.
I believe the idea behind tower defense games comes from Warcraft 3. Basically you need to build different type of towers in order to destroy the “creeps”. Usually the towers have different properties and upgrade opportunities.
5. Tower Defense is very basic with very simple graphics. All creeps are grey circles that move at the same speed.
There’s not much to this one, but it’s the first TD game I played so it makes the list because of the addictiveness.
4. Flash Element TD has basic graphics which a variety of different looking creeps. There are two types of creeps, land and air based. So some towers can only hit land targets, some only air and some can hit both.
This one includes a monetary bonus depending on how much you have left in the bank after each wave of creeps. So it’s to your benefit to survive a wave by spending the least amount of money. You really need to do this to go far in the game.
3. Flash Circle TD is the sequel to Flash Element TD but a different game all together. The graphics and sound are much better and it’s kept the cool monetary bonus.
What makes this different is that there are endless waves of creeps that keep walking around the map. You lose once 100 creeps are on the screen.

2. Desktop Tower Defense is unique in that you determine which path the creeps have to take. All the want to to is cross the screen so it’s up to you to put towers in their way making it a long journey for them.
The downside to Desktop Tower Defense is the graphics. The just aren’t that special, however trying to create a long path is quite addictive.

1. Onslaught like Desktop Tower Defense isn’t very special graphically, but it does offer so much more.
Onslaught has 8 different maps to play. Towers have 3 upgrade options (Damage, Range, Fire Rate) where others have just 1. Different towers can work together to make much stronger attacks.
There are a lot of aspects to Onslaught that need to be mastered to go far and get your name on the leader board.

There are heaps of these games out there, but these five are my favourites.
Go forth and kill the creeps!
