World Flags in Food

All these images we’re made to promote the Sydney International Food Festival from earlier this year. Extremely creative and cool, flags were created out of common ingredients from that country.
Australia of course being a meat pie.

Feel free to abuse me if I named any of the flags incorrectly. I think I got them right.

Orchard Road Christmas Decorations

Earlier I posted photos of Singapore’s Christmas Lights, and as promised here is what Orchard Road looks like during the day.
There are decorations all along Orchard Road, most put on by the shops themselves, but some are part of a larger Singapore exhibition. Again, my photos might not be great but it gives you an idea of how awesome Singapore looks at Christmas time.
I’ve been told by a local that the Christmas decorations change each year. Make sure you check out Singapore’s Christmas Lights all lit up.

Singapore’s Christmas Lights

Here are some photos I took of the Christmas lights that travel all the way along Orchard Road in Singapore.
Orchard Road is basically one long line of shopping centres, ranging from the most exclusive brands to the sleaziest adult shops. The lights run along 3.7km (2.3 miles) of the road, which is made up of of 80km (49.7 miles) worth of lights. That doesn’t include all the lights and displays that the shops also put on.
These photos really don’t do the whole scene any justice. It is truly amazing. Have a look at the Christmas Decorations on Orchard Road by day.

Awesome Folded Paper Art

Simon Schubert is extremely talented and patient when it comes to paper! It takes Simon a month to take a piece of paper and fold it in just the right places to make amazing pieces of art.
Each piece sells for about $6,000 USD.
