Just Whatever has now made 1,000 posts… Yay!

This wonderful little site started way back in May 2006, originally with posts every now and then, before I started updating daily. 999 posts later and here we are.

So I thought I’d take a walk down memory lane and look a the ten most popular post, pictures and search terms in Just Whatever’s history.

1. Top 5 Tower Defense Games
This bad boy consistatly recieves high traffic, making it 3 times as popular as any other post I made. I am pretty happy with this one, because I actually put in some effort and people loved it. It even made it on the front page of Digg.

2. Musical Statistics
I was surprised at this one. I thought it was a little amusing but people really loved it.

3. Paid to do it 72 Times
I have no idea if this is real or not, but the story of two German families who tried get pregnant is absolutely hilarious. If you have read it yet, you really need to check it out now!

4. Crazy Tourist Questions
This is a simple question and answer article from an Australian travel agent. Apparently some people in the world think Australia is in an alternate dimension where everything is different.

5. Do Not Juggle Bowling Balls
There is a lot of debate over whether this video is real or fake. Either way, juggling bowling balls does not appear to be a good idea.

A radio show in the United States played this clip of a great way to get back at telemarketers. Awesome!

8. Creepy Strange Notice

It’s just a picture, but so weird and random I love it!

7. Evolution of Dance

“Evolution” may be slightly exaggerated, but this is a hilarious clip of comedian Judson Laipply. It was one of my earlier posts and very popular a year ago.

It’s one video that should be watched!

6. Batman vs Alien vs Predator

This is a fantastic video that someone made where Batman takes on Aliens and the Predator. Amazing!

5. Battlestar Galactica Cast in The Simpsons Style

I’m a fan of Battlestar Galactica and enjoy The Simpsons, so this was right up my alley.

I wish I was talented enough to draw these, but no, I’m just a few minutes a day blogger who stumbled on to some fantastic drawings. Which should not be forgotten, but viewed over and over again!

4. Princess Leia’s Gold Bikini

A recent post, but one of my favourites.

Star Wars fans are amazing! How many people could a website built around a gold bikini seen in a movie 30 years ago? What other fans would still be wearing that bikini 30 years later? Only Star Wars fans!

This is a fun post full of Star Wars sexiness!

3. Extremely Dumb Norwegian Blonde

All I did was post a video, but I can still watch and be amazed by the “blondness” of this woman. Whenever you want to feel smarter, just watch this.

2. Sexiest 5 Aliens from the Last 15 Years

Tricia Helfer who plays Six on Battlestar Galactica was my number one pick from the Sexiest 5 Aliens from the Last 15 Years. There is a poll which anyone can vote on and at this stage it seems the majority of people think Milla Jovovich as Leeloo from The Fifth Element is the sexiest.

Either way I thought this was an underrated post that didn’t seem to get much attention at all. So sad!

I put a lot of time into this list, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be to come up with 5 hotties, but surprisingly it was. For me this is a great post that should not be forgotten!

This one little post managed to make it on the front page of Digg which brought a long a huge amount of visitors, comments and links. All of which I greatly appreciate.

It was also good fun coming up with the list because it was my duty to thoroughly test all games first. Good times… Good times.

Lord of the Rings may have had one ring to rule them all, but Star Wars has one bikini to rule every fan boys fantasies!

Never has one costume been talked about, recreated and fantasied as much as the Princess Leia Bikini from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Can any other movie costume say it has it’s very own website? Well this does!

Leia’s Metal Bikini is the ultimate site for the ultimate bikini. Not only do they have galleries on Princess Leia in her bikini, but galleries on fans in their gold bikini’s, tutorials on making your own bikini and Slave Leia merchandise.

You may be thinking “Sure geeks fantasize about the bikini but not hot chick would actually wear it” Well you might be surprised at how many ladies, even hot ones, actually own and wear the Leia Bikini.

This isn’t a once off thing either, there have been several groups of different Slave Leia’s having their photo taken with the life sized Jabba.

There are a lot of talented fan boys and fan girls out there, who have shown their love for the bikini with hundreds of drawings which can be found on Flickr.

The upcoming movie Fan Boys pays homage with Kristen Bell wearing the gold bikini. Be sure to check that out.

I guess all that is left is Homer the Hutt and Slave Girl Marge.
