Remember a while back I said Gemma Arterton was the new Bond girl? Well, that wasn’t quite right.

Gemma Arterton is going to be in Bond 22, however she is not the Bond girl. That title goes to Olga Kurylenko, who you may know from the recent movie Hitman.

Gemma Arterton’s role has only been identified as MI6 Agent Fields. It was first thought that she was cast as James Bond’s primary female interest in the movie, but it turns out that her role is different than originally expected. Instead, Olga Kurylenko has been officially announced as the actual Bond girl in the upcoming currently untitled Bond 22. Kurylenko joins the returning cast of Daniel Craig as James Bond, Judi Dench as M, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter and Giancarlo Giannini as Mathis. French actor Mathieu Amalric also stars as the villain.
